Writer-director Ti West, known for bringing style and smarts back to the much-maligned horror genre with The Innkeepers and The House of the Devil, now helms a thriller about two journalists helping their friend search for his missing sister; they eventually find her residing at a religious compound run by a Jim Jones-like figure.
