Charlotte Symphony: Adventures in Outer Space
Though this matinee performance seems to be geared toward introducing the youngsters to the Charlotte Symphony, “Adventures in Outer Space” will also appeal to space movie junkies. Norman Huynh conducts the program with music from Star Wars, E.T., Superman and other sci-fi and fantasy flicks. Pre-concert festivities begin at 10 a.m. Space-inspired costumes encouraged.
