Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 4 may be “tragic,” but this concert is far from one to sulk over. Instead, it’s one you should buy tickets for. The program features Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute with Mei-Ann Chen guest-conducting, and renowned pipa (aka Chinese lute) player Wu Man soloing for the Charlotte premiere of Zhao Jiping’s Concerto for Pipa.
