Back in June 2013, Dave Chappelle appeared In Charlotte after a hiatus from standup. The initial booking sold out so quickly that two more shows were added for the comedian’s big comeback. The outcome? Chappelle rattled on about current events, movies and told long stories that were funny and entertaining. The ticket price is steep for his upcoming show at Ovens Auditorium, but it’s worth it for any true Chappelle fans. (Anita Overcash)
