Drinking. Pizza. Drawing. Models?! Gee willikers, Batman! Mellow Mushroom in Myers Park knows it is a combo worthy of incredulity, but is proceeding to do it anyways with the restaurant’s monthly Drink and Draw events. On the first Wednesday of every month, pizza-loving drinkers and budding artists alike can come to the Mellow Mushroom to sketch real-life models. This month’s models (DJ Spider is Silver Age Batwoman and Bob Kieffer is Silver Age Batman) will pose as superheroes and there will be timed sketches, prizes and trivia.
