Don’t mess with Lewis Black. He’s temperamental, blunt and ready for a good rant. That’s why when Rick Perry, the governor of Texas, unveiled a plan to take businesses from the Big Apple and bring them to the Lone Star state, he was met with a big, fat “Don’t fuck with New York” from Black, who calls Manhattan home. The rebel-raising political satirist, whose recent comedy special Old Yeller premiered on pay-per-view, comes to Ovens Auditorium during his current stand-up tour. Expect him to get angry and maybe even spit a little while he raves about the latest absurdities related to the powers-that-be, politics and whoever or whatever else has pissed him off.
