Don’t throw Lily Kershaw aside into a pile of 20-something actresses-turned-musicians who haven’t yet figured themselves out. Kershaw has appeared on Criminal Minds (the episodes were directed by her father) and a couple of other projects, but music has clearly been her focus from the start — since age 13, actually. She’s often referred to as an old soul, with the songwriting strength to fit her sweet vocal tone and simple musical accompaniment. (Jeff Hahne)
