Let me go ahead and get this out of the way — Les Claypool sure can slappa da bass. With its definitive lineup in place — Claypool, guitarist Larry LaLonde and drummer Tim Alexander — alt-rockers Primus have been hitting the road hard in support of that trio’s recent album, Primus & The Chocolate Factory. It’s inspired by the Willie Wonka soundtrack and is sure to be heavily favored in the setlist. (Jeff Hahne)
