YMSB plows the fertile fields of bluegrass and traditional acoustic music, writing and performing down-home songs. Its original compositions are firmly grounded while covers like “Jolene” are warm and respectful. The trio tours with a rotating cast of veteran musicians that helps flesh out a fuller sound.
