'HANGING BY A MOMENT': Lifehouse will perform at the Food Lion Speed Street 600 Festival.

It’s that time again. The three-day-long — May 21-23 — Food Lion Speed Street 600 Festival is gearing up to draw its usual large crowds, including an array of folks from NASCAR enthusiasts to concert-goers alike. The fest will feature a variety of displays and NASCAR-related activities, including autograph signings by drivers, including Kyle Busch, Richard Petty and more, as well as Q&A sessions with selected drivers. The fest also features three stages of entertainment. Music-wise, headlining acts in the country genre — including Jason Aldean, Rodney Atkins and Clint Black — outweigh other music categories, but as far as rock goes popular acts such as Lifehouse and Gavin Degraw are also scheduled to appear. See our Summer Guide for a feature on Gavin Degraw. Free. 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Uptown Charlotte; The Miller Lite Stage is located at the corner of Eighth Street and Brevard Street and the Coca-Cola stage intersects with East Trade Street and Tryon Street. www.600festival.com.
