Sounds like the situation was a giant snafu.
A high-ranking city official apologized Monday after he received a citation for garbage and debris piled outside a rental home he owns.
Boyd Cauble, who works as a legislative liaison for Charlotte’s City Manager, said he was unaware of the problem until he received a notice from a city code enforcement official late last week.
