10 Year Anniversary Celebration

When: Fri., July 12, 6-8:30 p.m. 2013
Price: Free admission
These days, it’s a big frickin’ deal when a business hits the big 1-0. It not only means that the business must be doing well, but that it is keeping visitors engaged and coming back for more. RedSky Gallery has been doing both of those things. The space, in the heart of Elizabeth, allows for local and regional artists to showcase their art. In honor of RedSky’s 10 year anniversary, folks at the gallery are planning a special shindig that will feature NC-based fiber artist Victoria Sowers. Sowers is slated to begin a personalized tapesty, which she dubs as a “fabric time capsule,” to be completed on Saturday afternoon. The piece will then be left behind for permanent display. During the event, a handful of other regional-area artists will also be in attendance.
