12 Hours of Design

When: Sat., Oct. 5, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. 2013
Price: Free admission
It’s not every day that renowned international designer and architect Bořek Šípek comes to Charlotte. Šípek, one of the architects behind the construction of Prague Castle in Czech Republic, will be showcasing his contemporary glass artwork during 12 Hours of Design. The event, a celebration of food, art and design, is being held at Hans Krug, a store specializing in kitchen cabinetry and furnishings. In addition, there will be artistic and edible food constructions from chefs at the Art Institute of Charlotte and cooking demonstrations in one of the sleek Hans Krug kitchens.
