In its 13th year, the annual Charlotte Bartenders Ball is an event that’s as alcohol-filled as it is glamorous. This year, it’s changing up its location — past years were held at Blake Hotel — and being held at Silver Hammer Studios, next to N.C. Music Factory. That being said, the shenanigans seem as splendid as usual. The semi-formal charity event features bartenders from a variety of hot spots around town who will be serving and mixing up drinks. Features top shelf liquor, premium beers, heavy appetizers (food provided by Nan & Byrons, Baku, and King Caterers, just to name a few), and five DJs. Proceeds benefit Project Halo, a Charlotte non-profit organization that operates as a no-kill animal rescue and sanctuary. For more information, visit www.charlottebartendersball.com. (Anita Overcash)
