16th Annual Charlotte Pilgrimage Tour 2014

In 1998 the Interfaith Pilgrimage made its way into Charlotte. The group consisted of the young and the old from various ethnic and religious backgrounds. They were recreating the "Middle Passage" Slave trade routes from Europe, Africa, South America and the United States. Their goal was to locate sites that were part of the Slave trade and to pray for racial healing and atonement for the past institution of Slavery.
