Formed in the summer of 2009, Isolate The Unknown has undoubtingly developed their own sound and style of writing throughout the past 7 years. The band concentrates their focus on songwriting rather than playing as many shows as possible. Although with numerous concerts performed: when Isolate The Unknown does perform, the shows are finished leaving the concertgoer and fan wanting more. Each member is well seasoned in honing their craft as a musician and songwriter. David, Jon , Joshua, & Brad have been in the Charlotte music scene for many years with previous projects and bands which has defined their reputation and respect as musicians and songwriters.
Currently, Isolate The Unknown has just released online a 3 song demo to their upcoming first album "Theory" which will be recorded at Catalyst Recordings with Rob Tavaglione as producer/engineer. The band just acquired Joshua Berndt as their new lead vocalist. His vocal style is what the band has been searching for since the beginning. An intense aggressive tone alongside with a clear melodic singing voice.
