A Program of Modern and Traditional Spirituals

The FireBird Singers will perform modern and traditional spirituals in free all-a capella concerts June 26, raising money for local charities.
Concerts will be at 3pm at Sharon United Methodist Church in Charlotte and 7pm at First Presbyterian Church 70 Union St. N., Concord.
The 14-member group of seasoned musicians is devoted exclusively to a cappella (unaccompanied) music.
A free-will offering will be taken to benefit Bridge to Recovery, a transitional housing program for those recovering from addiction, and First :Presbyterian's effort to provide disadvantaged students with healthy meals when they're not in school.
