A Very Grateful Christmas: Jerry's Kids
Dead and Co., fronted by former Grateful Dead singer-guitarist Bob Weir, recently brought the old jams to Charlotte, playing sub-par songs like “Hell in a Bucket” and “Standing on the Moon” from the band’s tepid final album. We’d rather see Jerry’s Kids — an N.C. Dead tribute featuring members of Charlotte’s New Familiars and regional acts like Hobex — pay homage to better Dead material at this annual show.
