A Visiting Artist workshop with William Baker

In this one day workshop William Baker will demonstrate throwing, trimming, and altering techniques used in making his forms. Discussions will include an explanation of his approach to creating quiet pots that are also strong forms, attention to detail, and surface considerations for atmospheric firings. William will share his techniques to altering thrown forms off of the wheel, refining the surface, and considering wheel thrown forms as parts of a whole.
