ABOVE & BEYOND

English trance trio Above & Beyond — Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki -— consistently rank in the upper echelon of those top DJ polls. They sold out Madison Square Garden last fall, so it’s no surprise they’re packing the house here, too. These guys separate themselves from the typical DJ pack by writing actual songs before they become the electronic versions, as evidenced by their recent acoustic tour and album. (Jeff Hahne)
