ACLU of NC, Charlotte Chapter Presents: Police Accountablity in Charlotte

Join the ACLU of NC, Charlotte Chapter for our general membership meeting on Sunday, June 3, at 7pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Charlotte. The event is free and open to all. Our panel discussion features leaders from CMPD, city council, and community organizations working to stop racially-biased policing. Topics include the role of the Citizen Review Board and how we can make sure law enforcement is accountable and transparent. Panelists: Julie Eiselt, Charlotte Mayor Pro Tem; Sarah Donaghy, Chair of the Charlotte Citizens Review Board; Major Stella Patterson, CMPD; Robert Dawkins, S.A.F.E. Coalition; and Sarah Gillooly, of ACLU-NC.
