African Print Fashion Now: A Story of Taste, Globalization, and Style
This exhibit, subtitled “A Story of Taste, Globalization, and Style,” showcases a dynamic and diverse dress tradition. The boldly-colored cotton textile prints that have gained in popularity with Africa’s newest generation of couturiers is spreading across the world, and four women have curated a new exhibit that will be stopping through Charlotte for six months to help spark the inspiration of New South fashionistas.
This exhibit runs through April 28, 2019.
