Afrofunk CLT
The mothership will be landing again at the Gantt Center this week, and it’s being billed “the beauty of black and brown.” This is an Afrofunk event you must experience to believe. A Sign of the Times band will be kicking out the jams and DJ Fannie Mae will be spinning old-school funk and R&B, Afro-Latin and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, soca, samba, soul and more. Come on out and shimmy into the diaspora. We can’t guarantee you’ll walk away unchanged.
