Any Andy the Doorbum record is cause for celebration, but the mystery surrounding The Fool’s release has created its own groundswell. Past efforts like Art Is Shit and The Man Ate the Bird... fit the tradition of Southern gothicism while insistently pushing into uncharted territory. This one is being billed as a “record release/ceremonial procession,” so strap in; shit’s about to get wonderfully weird. (John Schacht)
