Arte Latino Now

To celebrate the creative achievements of Latino artists in Charlotte, Queens University's center for Latino studies, department of art and foreign languages and office of diversity have partnered with GIL Projects, Inc., to present Arte Latino Now. The exhibit features art of varying mediums and styles, in a week-long series of events that showcase new media, visual arts, performing arts and creative writing. Claudia Pureco, Claudia Soria, Victor Gómez, Ivan Peña, José Vásquez, Nico Amórtegui, Marcela Garcés and Ramón Ramírez are the participating artists. Held in the Max L. Jackson Gallery in the Watkins building.
