Artfusion: Ecofab Trash Couture
Not all of us are bold and brassy enough to strut around in an outfit comprised of soda cans, bubble wrap, magazines, cassette tapes and tin foil. Just the thought of it sounds a little like Halloween. But actually, when designed by fashion experts, the outerwear oddities do kinda make us want sport them. The outfits are almost entirely comprised of recycled materials. Art Ecologie Group — sharing its ecofab trash couture with folks attending Mint Museum’s upcoming ArtFusion event — makes these pieces of clothing both stylish and sustainable. So, we’re doing something “good” by wearing them. There will also be recycled jewelry and a cash bar.
