Violinist Jamie Laval returns to his classical roots to team up with guitarist Amy Brucksch in a kaleidoscopic program featuring the operatically lyrical sonatas by Paganini, the brusk, edgy Romanian Dances by Bartok, a rarely heard sonata by Handel, a work of Argentine tango master Astor Piazzola, and even one of Laval’s own compositions in a Celtic style.
