Chicago-based pianist Mark Valenti performs an eclectic mix of piano pieces at the Abbey
The program includes works by J.S. Bach, Claude Debussy, the Hungarian composer Bela Bartok and Brazilian composer Hector Villa-Lobos. Most works, except for those by Bach, were composed in the early 20th century but have very distinctive composition styles making for an enjoyable listening experience.
