Arts at the Abbey

William Lawing, trumpet, makes a return engagement to the Abbey to present works including the 1995 Trumpet Sonata by American Eric Ewazen, and “Allegre” from ‘Toot Suite’ by French jazz composer Claude Bolling. Lawing will perform on a variety of trumpets and be accompanied by Cynthia Lawing, piano and assisted by clarinet player Mario Hunter, also of the Davidson Music Faculty.
