The last minute mini-tour by the Beastie Boys in support of getting people out to vote was a major coup for both Charlotte and Amos’ Southend. While the tour hit arenas and coliseums in other markets, the show here sold out in minutes and, literally, had the crammed-in audience climbing the rafters for a better view. Sheryl Crow and Santigold were also on the bill.
