Kelly Alexander

Our Mecklenburg County representative introduced 78 bills in the General Assembly’s 2013-2014 session. They focused on a broad array of subjects, including modernizing education, expanding Medicaid and childbirth options, and allowing local breweries to brew more beer. When he’s not fighting the good fight in Raleigh, he’s helping manage Alexander Funeral Home, the oldest African American-owned business (which just marked 100 years in operation) in the county, and works with numerous nonprofits and community organizations.
