When the dog-loving daughter of one of the judges convinced him to foster puppies from the Humane Society (generally a couple of puppies for two weeks at a time while they find them permanent homes), the non-pet person in him sought guidance. PetSmart in the University area has a helpful crew and is fully stocked for most traditional pet needs. Fish, cats, reptiles, and other pets find a home here as well.
