Best Record Store
Lunchbox Records

Staff Pick

Ah, the local indie record store. It was such a wonderful meeting place. So sad that it's now... oh wait, you say there's one left? That's right, Lunchbox is your classic, old-school indie record store where geeks like you can meet your friends and debate which Pavement album marked the end for crazy drummer Gary; which band was John Peel's favorite (ahem, that would be the Fall, and if you don't know who John Peel is, then you don't belong here); or which important obscure artist LCD Soundsystem failed to mention in "Losing My Edge." Yep, walking into Lunchbox is like walking into that record store in High Fidelity. (Warning: Don't go in there asking for that new Matchbox Twenty record!)
