Raleigh’s harbingers of metal mayhem have been at it for 15 years, releasing seven studio albums along the way. The band’s latest, Coma Ecliptic, was released in July and is a concept album and veers away from the group’s historically brutal sound. It didn’t go over well with some fans who didn’t find the synth-prog textures to be as appealing, but we’re guessing the live show will straighten them out. (Jeff Hahne)
