October 6 at 4:00 p.m. San Francisco-based singer/songwriter Bobby Jo Valentine will be performing at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1900 The Plaza, Charlotte. The West Coast Songwriter’s Association has named him “Songwriter of the Year” and LA WEEKLY writes: “Witty wordplay, clever melodies… the nicest guy to ever pick up an acoustic guitar.” No tickets are necessary, but a free-will offering will be taken to benefit funds will be given to support Time Out Youth.
