Starting in college, George Williamson was launched into a lifetime of responding to the United States’ hideous history and current acts of injustice toward various groups and social issues. George relates all this and more in his prophetic and timely memoir Born in Sin, Upended in Grace. The book illuminates the past, casts a searing light on the present and presents a stirring call to prophetic action.
Join George at St. John’s Baptist Church: 10:30 AM Sermon/Worship; 12:30 PM Book Reading/Q&A. Lunch will be offered for $10/person for those who want it (email Jacquelyn McAbee (jmcabee@sjcharlotte.org) to RSVP for lunch).
