Hear the story of the birth of Jesus from the anticipation through the visit of the wisemen and more. This year’s program features medieval and Renaissance music. Bob Sweeten (Max on the nationally syndicated Bob and Sheri radio show) returns to tell the story.The ensemble appears in Renaissance attire.
Music includes melodies from a 1582 publication Piae Cantiones familiar to us today and arrangements by Michael Praetorius. Everyone gets a chance to join in singing. We even practice a little ahead of time!
