Cedric The Entertainer gets serious when he asks contestants on ABC’s longtime game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire whether or not their answers are “final.” But that seriousness fades during other parts of the show, when Cedric cracks jokes that function as stress relievers for brainy trivia folk, both in the audience and at home. As host, Cedric can’t cut into a full comedy routine, but he damn well makes us laugh a little during the show’s airtime. Better known as one of The Original Kings of Comedy, Cedric stops in Charlotte for a performance at Ovens Auditorium on his current stand-up tour. This is where you’ll see Cedric do what he does best — entertain. With JJ and Malik S.
