Celebrate Disabilities on the Silver Screen

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of The American’s with Disabilities Act, Disability Rights & Resources will be presenting a film that explores how people with disabilities have been portrayed in a wide range of movies. Following will be a discussion panel, as well as a celebration party with heavy hors d’oeuvres & a cash bar. The event is co-sponsored by The City of Charlotte-Community Relations Committee and Blumenthal Performing Arts. The proceeds from the event will directly support the services provided by Disability, Rights & Resources.
