Ensemble Vermillian is back with an exuberant program featuring the chamber music of Biber and Buxtehude. Sisters Frances Blaker (recorders) and Barbara Blaker Krumdieck (cello) co-founded Ensemble Vermillian years ago when they were studying music in Europe, and since then the group has gone on to record several CD's and performed concerts throughout the United States and Northern Europe. They are known for their exciting interpretations of 17th and 18th century chamber music. This concert will highlight soprano Margaret Carpenter and a favorite baroque violinist from San Francisco, David Wilson.
