Jazz, blues and spirituals will be on the program Monday, November 16, when Center City Concerts at St. Peter’s hosts the Lois Deloatch Jazz Ensemble. The free concert is at noon at the church at the corner of North Tryon and West Seventh Street. Jazz vocalist Lois Deloatch is acclaimed for her rich contralto voice, fluid interpretations, expansive repertoire and transcendent performances. She has been in concert throughout the U.S. and internationally. For her Center City Concert, Deloatch will be joined by Gabe Evans on piano, Scott Sawyer on guitar, Beverly Botsford on percussion and John Brown on bass.
