Four years ago, the Charlotte music scene lost musician Rodney Lanier to cancer. Shortly after, singer-songwriter Eliot Bronson penned a tune, “Milwaukee,” dedicated to Lanier. It’s something that’s stuck with me all this time. That’s tribute to Bronson’s ability to convey emotions and feelings through his words and vocals. If one song can create a connection, imagine what he can do with entire albums. (Jeff Hahne)
