Charlotte Bach Festival Opening Concert: Handel's Dixit Dominus
In our fifth year, we continue our journey to perform all the major works of J.S. Bach with three "Bach Experience" sessions dedicated to the St. John Passion and performances of Handel’s Dixit Dominus and Bach’s Easter and Ascension Oratorios. In addition, the Festival will feature internationally-renowned organist and pedagogue Alcée Chriss as the Festival organ recitalist and clinician, our popular "Bach at the Brauhaus", and a new multimedia event, "Bach in a New Light," featuring Bach’s music set to a laser light show.
