Charlotte Concert Band: "Celebrations"
The Arts at Queens invites you to see The Charlotte Concert Band, a performing ensemble in the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance. This concert highlights some of the most celebrated festive music written for wind band. The program features the world-renown composer James Curnow as a guest conductor. The evening also includes "Festive Overture" by Dimitri Shostakovich, "Celebrations" by John Zdechlik, "La Fiesta Mexicana" by H. Owen Reed, and "Puszta" by Jan van der Roost. Charlotte Concert Band is a community band sponsored by Queens.
