Ignore the ‘v,’ it’s pronounced Churches — if you weren’t already aware. Regardless, this Scottish electro-pop trio creates catchy-as-hell choruses featuring the saccharin-sweet vocals of Lauren Mayberry (see hit singles “Leave a Trace” and “The Mother We Share”) and danceble soundscapes.
