The CineOdyssey Film Festival seeks to introduce audiences to diverse, contemporary films from around the world. This annual showcase — the first of its kind — will host its premiere in Charlotte, North Carolina,
The festival intends to give a platform to the next wave of filmmakers of color, celebrating their artistic achievements, as well as cultivating an appreciation of the art form, inspiring audiences to bridge cultural understanding.
The three-day event will showcase the works of filmmakers from the U.S. and African, Caribbean, Latino, Asian, and Native American diasporas. Panel discussions and networking events will augment the festival.
