Corazon de Dixie with Julie Weise
The South’s Latino community didn’t pop up over night. It has its own story that historian Julie Weise documents in her book, Corazon de Dixie: Mexicanos in the U.S. South Since 1910. She writes about Mexicans and Mexican-Americans’ migration. It also weighs in on immigration issues. There will be a reception, talk and book signing with Weise.
