Last year, Creative Loafing hosted its annual Best of Charlotte party at the McColl Center; that event was one of the best parties I’ve attended in my seven years at this paper. The drinks were plentiful, and although more than 900 people attended, we didn’t even run out of food. That’s what you call a successful party. And we’re doing it again. Happening Oct. 2 at the Mint Museum on Randolph, this year’s Best of will feature entertainment from the Carolina Renaissance Festival and others our marketing department won’t let me share. Food is courtesy of a number of vendors, including La Paz, Bonefish Grill and more. Come party with CL and the people and businesses we and our readers have deemed to be the very best in the city.
