Culture Initiative's Anniversary Party: Found
Is it possible to really stayed focused when an assortment of compelling art dominates the walls around you? That's a question to be answered after attending Culture Initiative's anniversary party and art showcase, dubbed Focused. CI — formed four years ago by Joel Tracey and Arthur Brouthers — is one of the Q.C.'s funkiest art alliances, having presented a variety of themed exhibits at galleries around town. For Focused, more than 60 local-area artists were asked to arrange and make use of found objects in new, unconventional and creative ways. The event will also feature live music by Sinners and Saints, Rachel Kate, The Black Iron Gathering and DJ's, That Guy Smitty and Justin Aswell.
