This Texas troubadour deserves to be performing in bigger places — no offense to the Thirsty Beaver, of course. But as it stands, there’s no better place for him to play than Charlotte’s finest country dive bar which will show him all the love he deserves. Dale Watson aims to play authentic, honest country without any of the pretentious bullshit so many of the “stars” carry with them these days. His new album, Call Me Insane, was released in June.
